“Fabulous customer service”
We are currently staying here, it is our last night and I'll be
sorry to go. On arrival the lady on check in thoroughly talked us
through the
city, places to eat, sights to see etc. Everyday our room is cleaned
which is so refreshing. The service here is impeccable, they have been
able to provide us with much needed information including brochures
which have helped us plan day activities. I would 110% recommend Le
Canal Boutique House to anyone looking to stay in chiang mai!
Thank you for your hospitality!
“Great little boutique hotel”
Clean and comfortable in a great location in Old City. Host was very nice and gave us a briefing on the layout of the city. She also advised us on things to see and do while in Chiang Mai. Lots of temples nearby, within walking distance
“Very friendly staff, extremely helpful”
The
staff went out of her way to help us secure an ATV tour despite the
short notice. And bargained for a discount for us. This place has no
lift, so if you are on the 3rd floor and large luggage, it can be a
slight problem.
“Wonderful place with the best staff”
Le
Canal Boutique House is a fabulous hotel. The staff who work there are
maybe some of the friendliest people you could meet and the room is
very comfortable and nicely furnished for the price you pay.
We stayed for 7 nights and decided to extend our stay in Chiang Mai by
4 more nights. Unfortunately there was no availability at Le Canal so
we had to move a few doors down to Roseate Hotel. It was a massive
downgrade. Le Canal was so much better in every way.
It is brilliantly located by the north gate of the old city. The bed
was comfy and everything worked in to the room how it was supposed to.
Everything you could want is easily accessible location wise (bars,
restaurants, 7/11). You can find fantastic street food the other side
of the river.
But what really makes this hotel special is the kindness shown by the
staff. When we checked in the lovely lady at reception gave us a map
and some great tips for places to eat nearby and things to see. The
places to eat she recommended to us became our favourite places. You
must check out Khao Soi Khun Yai 5 mins away! She highlighted on the
map where the markets were and on what day and generally set us up for
a fantastic time in Chiang Mai.
We would like to thank the staff at Le Canal for a wonderful time and
heartily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. We
ourselves would love to return one day.
"Very close to all the major attractions"
This
place was a great value for the price. Nice clean room in a great area.
Loved having the North Gate Jazz Bar so close and lots of food options.
Very close to all the major attractions in the old city. They were very
helpful when we checked in, giving us lots of advice and tips on places
to try. Would definitely recommend.
"It's very scenic and clean"
Aum
and her employees are amazing. We were greeted with genuine smiles and
such a willing attitude to help. Sometimes it's a little disconcerting
to travel to a strange country with different customs and languages but
they made such a difference for us with a map with handwritten notes
and so many tips. The hotel is in a beautiful area and it's very scenic
and clean. We can't recommend this hotel enough!
